Camp NAWIC is a FREE summer day camp program for girls* entering grades 8-12 who are interested in learning about construction careers and getting hands-on experience with building trades occupations, such as electricians, carpenters, bricklayers, ironworkers, and operating engineers. 

 

No experience required! Join us to learn about the construction process, college-path and apprenticeship-path careers, and have fun trying new things!

 

Dates: Monday-Friday, June 22-26, 2026, 8am-3:30pm

Location: IBEW Local 5 Joint Apprenticeship Training Center (JATC) -- 5 Hot Metal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203

(Students must provide transportation to and from the JATC each day. Group transportation during the day will be provided. Please contact Joelle Salerno for public transportation assistance.)
